Adipocere: What you always wanted to know
Adipocere, also known as grave wax or Mortuary wax, is the resulting decomposed state of flesh if left in a damp and sealed environment. The process of fatty and soft tissues converting to adipocere is called saponification which is the same process used to make soap. A corpse that has been largely converted to Adipocere is called a "Soap Mummy". See this site for all the details. Try this site for some grave humor on the subject.

320 people arrested in for practicing sorcery in bizarre ''cargo'' cult
We only thought that the move The Gods Must Be Crazy was fictional. Apparently there is a cult in Papua New Guinea who believe that cargo--western goods were created by their ancestors to make their life easier. They even make airstrips in the jungle in hopes that planes will land and deliver more sacred cargo. Apparently, this is to much for the local authorities who have rounded up leaders of the cargo cult and have charged them with sorcery. Check out the full story here

Tiny Humanoid Creature found in Chile
I came across this article that has pictures of a tiny humanoid looking creature that was found by a family in Chili in 2002. I looks a little bit of what a baby grey alien might look like--then again, it might just be a dead cat.

Italian village spontaniously combusting
According to this article on MSNBC a small village in Italy is spontaniously combusing on a daily basis since January. There is no apparent explanation and scientists, paranormal investigators, and exorcists are all baffled.

Disruptive haunting.
annie writes "While I am very open minded and not led by flights of fancy, this experience is something I could not ignore nor explaine.
Five years ago I moved into a small house in the county of Essex -England- I had not come accross poltergiest and had no idea what to expect. The problems started when we decided to put in a new kitchen, as soon as we started pulling out the old kitchen, we heard loud banging on the walls, this went on continually, then doors would slam shut or open on their own, covers would be pulled off of us while sleeping, and my small son was thrown down stairs by an unseen force. As you can imagine we were very uneasy by all of this. I could not seem to contact what was behind this activity. In desperation I decided to call upon the help of the local church -High church of England-. A preist came out to see me, he vas a very nice man, who told me he would need to get permission from the Bishop of Canterbury to preforme the act of Excercisim, as my house had evil spirits in it.
This permission was granted and the preist came to preforme the rite. We were very aprehensive and the preist was realy frightened. He did his thing, it made the problem much worse, and continued for over a year. I decided to move, I also came to the conclusion that I needed to investigate more, since that time I have seen and learnt much. Their is so much that we have no real understanding of, just because it is not seen by the physical eye does not mean it is not real. Always be open minded, but look for the rational things first before you decide that it is paranormal."
